Three steps to solar energy at home

No construction work, no installers, no paperwork. We handle it for you.

Subscribe

Choose how many kW you want to subscribe to. The monthly fee is fixed and transparent: 12 EUR/kW/month. No minimum commitment.

We connect the plant to your CUPS

We link your subscription to your electricity supply point. The grid operator applies the offset directly to your electricity bill. No need to change electricity provider.

You save every month

Every hour the sun shines on the plant, your share produces energy. That energy is deducted from what you consume. Track it in real time on the portal.

Cercle Solar is the shared solar energy platform that lets you benefit from the energy of a nearby photovoltaic installation without needing panels on your own roof. Through a monthly subscription model, you receive a percentage of the energy generated by the solar plant, which is deducted directly from your electricity bill.

📹 Want to know more? Watch the Cercle Solar explainer video

A group of people shares the energy generated by a nearby photovoltaic solar installation. Each subscriber receives a percentage of that energy (their allocation coefficient), which is deducted directly from their electricity bill. There's no need to have panels on your roof or carry out any work at home.

Cercle Solar is designed for anyone — individuals or businesses — who want to cut their electricity bill without complications. You don't need a roof, construction work or an upfront investment. The whole process is 100% online, and the platform handles the paperwork with the grid operator on your behalf.

It's especially worthwhile if:

  • You rent your home or live in a flat with no access to the roof
  • You have a roof but can't or don't want to install your own panels
  • You have a shop, restaurant, office or business with a recurring electricity bill you want to reduce
  • You want to make the most of solar energy with no investment or maintenance
  • You'd rather pay a fixed monthly fee than a large upfront cost

You subscribe in minutes, we do the rest.

Yes. You get access to the Cercle Solar client portal, free for all subscribers, where you can check in real time the energy generated, the energy self-consumed and your accumulated savings, broken down daily, monthly and annually. You'll also find your contracts and billing status there.
The contract doesn't guarantee a specific amount of savings. Savings depend on actual solar production (which varies with each month's sunlight), your consumption and the price of electricity at any given time. You can check your real savings through the Cercle Solar client portal.
Yes. You can cancel at any time, with no need to give a reason or give notice. You do it through the client portal. Note: you'll still pay the fee for the current month and the following month, because the grid operator needs time to process the cancellation.
You can check the location of projects with open subscriptions in the projects section.
You don't pay for the panels. It's a subscription model: you pay a monthly amount for a service. You don't acquire any ownership of the installation or any real right over the panels, but you also have no maintenance or minimum-commitment obligations.
No. The contract states this explicitly: each subscriber can stay with their own electricity retailer. No need to switch.
Yes. You keep paying your usual electricity bill, but the energy you self-consume from the solar installation is deducted from that bill. In addition, if there's a surplus, your retailer compensates you for it under the simplified compensation mechanism (RD 244/2019). In parallel, you pay the monthly fee to the developer.
On the 5th of each month, or the next business day if it falls on a weekend or public holiday. Payment is made by direct debit from the account you specified in the contract.
Preventive and corrective maintenance of the installation is the developer's responsibility and is included in the monthly fee. As a subscriber you don't need to worry about anything: the developer handles any technical issue.
The developer has 15 business days to verify your details after receiving your application. Once approved, the service activates once the grid operator enables your supply point within the collective self-consumption scheme. The grid operator's timelines vary case by case, but the whole process typically takes around 8 weeks.
Yes, but the developer guides you through the process. The grid operator must be notified (either directly or through your retailer) that you want to join the collective self-consumption scheme. The developer (through its authorized manager) takes care of the administrative paperwork and required communications on your behalf.
Yes, you need to notify the developer at least 60 business days in advance. You can keep your subscription at your new address if it meets the proximity-to-installation requirements set out in the contract. You can also transfer the subscription to whoever moves into your current home through a change of ownership.
Nothing. You can switch retailer whenever you want: your contract with the energy community is independent of your electricity supply contract. You just need to make sure the new retailer correctly manages the surplus compensation mechanism, which is a legal obligation for any retailer in Spain.
